We kicked off the new year with a very informal New Year’s CanCham Corner on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 at the Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel. This turned out to be an excellent opportunity for our members and friends to meet Board members to discuss plans for the upcoming months in the cozy and totally pleasant surroundings of the Harper Woolf Lounge at the Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel, and for everyone to wish one another all the best for 2025..jpeg)
Next on the agenda will be our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, January 27th where the focus will be on actions to be taken by CanCham to promote its member’s activities and support their objectives. This will be followed by a procurement seminar with Task Force Latvia (TFL) to introduce CanCham members to TFL, as well as provide TFL personnel the opportunity to explain their requirements and the methods our members should use to participate in the procurement process and meeting TFL requirements. This will be followed by a special event recognizing women’s day with a panel discussion on “Women in the Military” on Monday, March 10th. We will then be celebrating CanCham’s 25th birthday on Monday, April 14th, 2025. Please check https://cancham.lv/ for details and updates to the event schedule.
