I had the pleasure and honour to represent the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (CanCham) on the occasion of its A220 delivery center inauguration and celebration of airBaltic's 50th Airbus A220-300 delivered to airBaltic in Mirabel, Québec.
A great celebration indeed!
The CEO of Latvia's national carrier, Mr. Martin Gauss looks forward to an expanded future, expanded routes, and the addition of 50 more aircraft.
In my capacity both as a member and representative of CanCham, and as the head of the Baltic Canadian Council, it was a pleasure to network with numerous business partners, representatives in the Québec aerospace industry, and team members of Airbus and airBaltic. Of a particular interest, in talking with team members, it was clear that each one was an expert in their area. Most were also of a younger generation, and every one of those I spoke with were dedicated and so very much enthusiastic about their work and their special contributions to this vital industry. Truly impressive sense of "team"!
