Notice of CanCham Restart Meeting

 

Dear fellow Canadians, CanCham current & former members, Friends of Canada,

We would like to invite you to the upcoming CanCham Restart Meeting.

The purpose of this meeting is to consider reversing the decision made at CanCham’s Extraordinary Member’s Meeting on October 31st, 2022 to dissolve (liquidate) the CanCham. Canadians, CanCham current & former members, and Friends of Canada are invited to attend this meeting. Personal attendance will be required since there will be no provision for proxies. Please feel free to invite individuals who may be interested in supporting the CanCham.

Background information is available in the CanCham web site. We ask you to review the following sections in order to develop an understanding of where we are coming from, and what we wish to accomplish.

  4. Review of CanCham’s Extraordinary Member’s Meeting on October 31st, 2022 decision to dissolve (liquidate) the CanCham
  5. Discussions/Questions regarding the review
  6. Vote on the proposal to restart the CanCham
 
In the event of a positive vote on the re-start of the CanCham, the following will apply
  1. Election of the President / Chairman of the Board of Directors
  2. Election of the Board (4 members), Canadian Director(s), and
  3. Election of 3 Audit Committee members
  4. Budget proposal for the upcoming year / membership fees
  5. Future Events
  6. Other Items
  7. Adjournment
