Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner

The annual CanCham Canadian Thanksgiving dinner was held on October 8 in Riga, at the restaurant Ostasskati, a somewhat new restaurant at the far end of Kipsala, right on the Daugava river.
Mr. Janis Klavins, a world traveler - adventurer kept everyone entertained with stories, pictures and a film clip about his several trips by boat down the Yukon river. Ambassador Heatherington thanked Mr. Klavins with a bottle of Canadian wine.
