Dear CanCham, DCCL, FCCL  PLCC, LCCI Members and Friends,

On behalf of the Dannish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (DCCL), the Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (FCCL), the Polish-Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PLCC), the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (CCCL), we are pleased to invite you to participate in a joint chamber event featuring the third in a series of seminars titled “Making the Connection to supply goods and services to the Canadian Armed Forces in Latvia”.

By attending this event, you will gain:

  • updated information on procurement process from Task Force Latvia (TFL),
  • insight into TFL’s immediate and longer-term procurement requirements,
  • knowledge on how to apply to the Vetted Vendor list,
  • opportunity to speak directly with TFL representatives,

Over a sit-down luncheon, the seminar will be presented by Major Randy Aube – Officer Commanding, Canadian Contracts Management Cell (CMC), National Support Element. The presentation will be followed by a Question & Answer period followed by a networking period that will include other officers from the Contracts Management Cell. The focus of the seminar will be on goods and services procured by TFL – a seminar solely focussing on infrastructure is planned for Monday, March 8th, 2027.

Event participants will be given an opportunity to introduce themselves and their organizations. This is to help TFL identify potential business partners with whom to network after the formal presentations.

Through Operation REASSURANCE, Canada plays a leading role in NATO’s collective defence in Latvia, serving as the Framework Nation for NATO’s Multinational Brigade Latvia and working alongside Latvian forces and Allied partners such as Danmark and Poland.

Task Force Latvia (TFL) is the National Command Element that ensures the success of the Canadian contribution to NATO in Latvia. This involves investing in military infrastructure and coordinating various aspects needed to support this effort through local procurement.

We hope that all will develop useful contacts.
