Seminar on Canadian Expertise in Sustainable Investment for Large Infrastructure and Public-Private Partnership Projects
On October 17th, 2012, the Embassy of Canada and the Mortgage and Land Bank of Latvia is organising a seminar on Canadian expertise in sustainable investment for large infrastructure and public-private partnership projects.
Canada has one of the most active and politically stable private infrastructure investment markets in the world. The Canadian bond market serves as a major source of large investment project financing. In addition to bonds, many Canadian provinces have some form of public-private partnership models, where federal and local governments create and sustain effective large investment projects, sharing risks and profits.
The seminar will provide a unique opportunity to learn about the Canadian experience with large infrastructure and public-private partnership model projects.
Participants are kindly asked to register their attendance by October 15th, 2012 by phone at +371 67813945 or by e-mail to: marcel.sangsari@international.gc.ca.
