Report on the CanCham AGM

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce took place at the Riga Business School at 18.30, October 3rd, 2016. 28 participants held a total of 51 votes (including proxies).

The CanCham elected a new Board and Audit Committee. Ed Kalvins (TP Riga) remains as Chairman/President. Elected Board members include Daiga Štendenberga (SIA "Stendenberga" representing KRINNER), Henrik Mjoman (Prime Recruitment), Indra Sproģe-Kalviņa (TP Riga) and Jānis Loze (Loze & Partners), and as the Board Representative to Canada, Sam Davidovich (Transcontinental Consulting Company). Audit Committee members elected include Arvīds Godjuks (Areto Development), Dzintra Renigere (R Birojs), Jan Welitz (E-bags). The AGM was chaired by Ilvars Petersons (Siemens) and Antons Maximovs (Latvia Dental).

• November 3rd, Thursday -  Partnering for Profit program Theme: “Getting the message out”.
