Dear CanCham Members and Friends, Artis Pabriks, the European Parliament Member appointed as the EP's chief rapporteur on CETA joins us to update the CanCham on CETA, and looks at Latvia’s political and economic system as the CanCham prepares for national elections this year. Ed Kalvins, CanCham Chairman, will also provide updates on CanCham’s Connecting Canada to Latvia initiative, and Stanislas Jacques, Contracting Officer representing the Canadian Armed Forces, will review the procurement policies and practices of the CAF in Latvia. Entrance charge includes lunch and free parking. |
