Dear CanCham Members and Friends, Finally! A chance to meet in person - outdoors, of course, observing COVID-19 restrictions. We invite you to observe Canada’s 154th birthday at the RigaApartment.com Sonada Hotel Gardens (Gertrudes 129) by enjoying a picnic with a typical Canadian BBQ with hamburgers, foil wrapped potatoes, a salad and a welcome beer/wine/juice. A special menu of hamburger, and a soft drink is available for children 6 to 14 years old. Summer casual attire recommended. A cash bar will be available.

Families are most welcome. Canadian Armed Forces personnel and their families are most welcome to attend at the member rates. Please register early but no later than by Tuesday, June 29th at noon, so that we can plan the event properly.

We encourage early registration. Advance payment is required to reserve you place. Preference will be given to paid guests. Unpaid registrations may be cancelled should the venue be fully booked. (CanCham reserves the right to charge registered persons who do not cancel their reservations by Tuesday, June 29th at noon,) In order to conform to new privacy laws, attendees are advised that all proceedings during an event could be photographed, and that these photographs could be placed in public view in social media sites or web sites accessible to the public as reports of these events. Should attendees not wish their photo to appear in the public space, please advise the organizers accordingly in the notes section of the registration form. | |
