CanCham members and their partners offer a wide range of services locally for the international business community who may be interested in considering setting up business, or manufacturing or logistics operations in Latvia and Northern Europe. CanCham’s Visit Latvia program though our business tourism initiative provides a bundle of services and coordination of trips to Latvia for entrepreneurs to become acquainted with the region and its possibilities with the added benefit of being able to enjoy the cultural and scenic environment of Latvia in a week long business mission / vacation combination. This could involve meetings with local professionals (lawyers, tax consultants, accountants, real estate representatives, etc.) and professional organizations such as local chambers of commerce and business associations, embassies and the Latvian Investment & Development Agency representatives. In your free time, there could be tours around Riga and/or Latvia, as well as attendance at cultural events such as the opera and theatre, or just plain bar and restaurant hopping. A Destination Management Coordinator (DMC) will help you plan the logistics of your trip from the time you arrive at Riga International Airport to the time you leave, organizing everything in between including all meetings, accommodation, transfers, entertainment, shopping, excursions, etc. A personal assistant will be assigned to you during your visit in Latvia to ensure you have a positive experience. Latvia provides numerous business opportunities within the EU and the former Soviet space, as well as connections to our international partners. The Visit Latvia program is an affordable and simple way to scout for possibilities while enjoying a learning and cultural experience. |
