Dear CanCham Members,

You are invited to attend a CanCham Strategic Partnership Initiative (SPI) Review, organized exclusively for CanCham members. Please let us know whether you plan to attend.

Our first member meeting related to the initiative took place on September 22, 2025, and the SPI was officially launched at this year’s January AGM. An overview of the initiative can be found here: https://cancham.lv/about-cancham/strategic-partnerships.

Since our first meeting, significant work has been carried out and meaningful progress has been made. We would like to share these developments with our members and discuss the next steps.

The agenda will include:

  • Objectives of the SPI
  • Introduction of SPI Coordinators
  • Implementation strategy
  • SPI Coordinator instruments (database, meetings, communication, advertising)
  • How the SPI relates to our work with the CAF/TFL and commercial activity development between Canada and Latvia.
  • Member involvement – how members can support and benefit from the initiative
  • The way forward.

Please note that the time of the seminar has been set to accommodate participants from Canada.

This will be followed by two in-person events promoting the SPI, one in Toronto and one in Riga.

  • Monday, April 10th, 2026 at 16.00 - CanCham Corner Canada – Informal Networking: JOEY Don Mills, 75 O’Neill Rd, North York, https://joeyrestaurants.com/location/joey-don-mills, Map: https://maps.google.com/?q=JOEY+Don+Mills+75+O’Neill+Rd+North+York.
