The CanCham “Meet the Members” networking and socializing event at Antica Roma  took place on Thursday, February 11th with 22 members and friends in attendance. Guests enjoyed Italian style pizza, bruschettes and wine, and were provided with an opportunity to purchase Italian products imported from Italy.

We were especially delighted with the presence of the Taipei Mission Ambassador H.E. Gary K.Y.Ko and his assistant Mr. Chung-Yung Keng, which resulted in interesting discussions relating to business opportunities with several members. This also helped to demonstrate the CanCham’s international activity profile. All present introduced themselves and their services, and had the opportunity to engage in networking amongst themselves. Of particular note was that that special interests groups are taking shape within the CanCham, with a healthcare group forming to promote medical tourism, and a construction related service group forming amongst those interested in this sector.

Overall, we can say – “mission accomplished”, and proved once again, that people need to meet and talk to each other to discover the hidden potential of business opportunities.  Photos.
