Management: Janis Briedis is a freelance Management Consultant, Facilitator and Coach based in Riga, Latvia. The main consulting areas are strategy development process, change management, business process improvement, knowledge management, HR management and mentoring. Mr. Briedis is a professional with over twenty years of experience in the Power Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Printing, Wholesale/Retail sectors across the Baltics.

Prior to this, he served as Managing Director for a Nordic IT company subsidiary in Latvia, a franchise company in the area of Executive Recruitment, as a Senior Consultant for one of the "Big Four" accounting firms, and in several positions in the largest Latvian Power Utilities company.

Mr. Briedis has a multifaceted educational background, combining nature sciences and business. His academic credentials include a M.Sc. in Management and Engineering Diploma in Power Engineering from the Riga Technical University, and two Bachelor’s degrees: one in Electrical and Power Engineering and another in Economics. He has been a lecturer in MBA and EMBA programs in several Business Schools located in Latvia. He speaks native Latvian, and is fluent English and Russian.
